in the Accounting Lab

Mondays & Wednesdays:
10:00-11:00 a.m.

Tuesdays & Thursdays:
12:00 noon-2:30 p.m.
Fridays:
10:00-11:00 a.m.
Accounting lab is run by a grauduate accounting student and attended by students in Principles of Accounting I and II. You may volunteer to work in the lab and help these students with their understanding of accounting. Sign up for a tutoring slot on the BAP bulletin board located outside the Accounting Department. Chocoholics Night Out Friday, February 8
Times Flexible
8:00 a.m.-9:30p.m.
A benefit for the Humane Society of Faulker County. They need help with setup, serving, the silent auction, and cleanup. Plan to voluneer for at least 2 hours. Earn and extra hour by donating something chocolate or a drink. To volunteer, contact

Beta Alpha Psi Book Drive All Semester;
Times Flexible
Beta Alpha Psi is collecting textbooks from faculty members all over campus. Our goal is to return them to the publisher or to sell or recycle them. This project helps keep textbook prices down and reduce the amount of garbage (good for the environment). You can collect, sort, or deliver books. Contact Dr. Watson at
swatson@uca.edu to put your name on the volunteer list. We'll call you when there is work.

Bear Facts Day Friday, April 4

Shift 1: 9-10a.m.
Shift 2: 10-11a.m.
Bear Facts Days are special visitation days for interested students. At least 2 students are needed: one to work the first shift, which includes setting up the display, and one to work the second shift, which includes breaking down. Contact Dr. Watson at

Women's Southern Golf Association All Semester;
Times vary and are somewhat flexible
WSGA is a non-profit organization that grants scholarships. You would be responsible for billing member golf associations and setting up an accounting system to track receipts and expenditures. Contact Dr. Spikes at
pams@uca.edu or 501-450-5315 to put your name on the volunteer list. She'll contact you when there is work.
